You have realized you are getting obese. Maybe you have been diagnosed with a certain disease. Whatever it is, you know that you have to be serious about your health from now onwards. Therefore, you dedicate yourself to a health journal that details your goals. After you read this article, you will be able to write concrete and realistic health goals that you can achieve within a given time period.
Write down every task that you do
This can be anything useful to your health. The best example is exercising. Write down your allocated time to exercise, which day you exercise and the intensity. You should also record the intensity and observations during the exercise (pains or difficulty).
Prioritize your goals
First of all, clear all distractions. You should do the thing that matters first. Being busy does not necessarily mean taking action. You have to take action that matters and produces results that you want. For example, you want a better body and cardiovascular health. Therefore, you must prioritize your aerobic workout. It must be carried out no matter what the circumstances are. This is called first priority, doing what matters and not be entrenched into doing meaningless tasks that don't produce results.
Know your limitations
You should also jot down your limitations and weaknesses. This way, you can strengthen these weaknesses besides focusing on your strengths. For example, if you have arthritis, then you should switch sports. Change from running to cycling or swimming.
The more you encounter failures, the better. You can be more successful at a faster rate. No one lives a perfect life. Think of failures as the stair steps that lead to your destination. You have to go through each step as you move along. There is simply no other way. In fact, you should get used to it and keep going.
Measure your progress
This is why you must have a health journal. It records your achievements and lets you know what you have done. At the end of the day, you will be overwhelmed by your own health goals journal when you read it because of the many things you have accomplished.
